    Blumhouse’s Big Video Game Push Is Bearing Fruit

    Famed horror film studio Blumhouse announced a big push into video games last year, announcing it was opening up a publishing house for the biggest entertainment industry in the world, and now it’s ready to show off its work.

    During the Summer Game Fest showcase, a 2-hour-long presentation featuring dozens of video game announcements, Blumhouse revealed six video games, all of which are horror-themed and very much in line with what you’d expect from the company. The six games announced will be launching in 2024 and beyond, and Blumhouse president Zach Wood seems pretty excited for them.

    “We're blown away by the teams who are creating our first slate of games, and truly couldn't be more proud to partner with strong, independent game creators who are bringing unique ideas to the horror genre ,” Wood says. “Our upcoming titles represent standout storytelling, inventive play styles, and fresh approaches to scary stories, created by game developers who are deeply passionate about horror. We hope players see our collective love of the genre and indie creativity shine through our partners and our portfolio of games.”

    The company has released synopses for all of the games shown off during the presentation, which we’ve listed below for you:

    Fear the Spotlight
