LOGAN — The United Way of Hocking County has announced that it has a new executive director, Teresa Salizzoni.

Raised in the area and a proud graduate of Logan High School, Salizzoni has deep roots in the community. She currently resides in Logan with her husband, Bozz, and granddaughters, Lorelai and Zayda.

Salizzoni brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having worked and volunteered extensively in the non-profit sector. Her passion for community service and commitment to making a difference align perfectly with the mission of the United Way. As executive director, she is eager to leverage her skills and knowledge to promote the organization’s goals and initiatives.

One of Salizzoni’s primary focuses will be securing donations to further the mission of the United Way, ensuring that they can continue to support and uplift the community. Under her leadership, the United Way of Hocking County looks forward to reaching new heights and making a lasting impact.

The United Way of Hocking County exists to bring resources and people together to create healthier lives, fight poverty and provide our community residents with the educational opportunities they deserve.

Salizzoni replaces Mike Barrell as director. Barrell has served since 2020 as the director and plans to remain active with the United Way to further support their mission and to serve the community.

The United Way of Hocking County operates under the guidance of a dedicated board of directors. For more information about their work or to donate, visit their website at https://www.unitedwayhocking.org and follow them on Facebook.
