Kourtney Kardashian Shows Off Her Pregnancy Scar With A Crop Top In A Never-Before-Seen Photoshoot On The New Episode Of ‘The Kardashians’

In a much-awaited maternity photoshoot (that had been previously teased but never fully revealed until now), Kourtney Kardashian unveiled her baby bump and scar from her emergency fetal surgery in September 2023.

The photos, which were taken after her headline-making surgery, featured the Poosh founder, 45, donning a crop top and unbuttoned skirt from her Boohoo collection.

In the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians , the mom of four likened herself to a “fragile little egg” as she bared her belly for the camera. Although the scar was visible in the footage, it was curiously absent from the final photos.

In October 2023 , Kardashian first uploaded snaps from this particular shoot on Instagram. Prior to that , the Lemme mogul had already opened up to fans about her hospitalization. "As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery," she wrote in a post for her 223 million followers at the time.

She went on: "I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant. Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing."

Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker welcomed their son Rocky in November.

During the Season 5 premiere of her family's show , Kardashian delved deeper into the details of her procedure, which she described as " traumatic. "

Kardashian (who also shares three children with ex Scott Disick ) went on to explain that ultrasound results had raised some concerns, prompting her to take action .

The eldest Kardashian sister explained: "There’s a hole in the amniotic sac from where they had to go in. I’m not allowed to drive. I’m not allowed to stand for more than 20 minutes. I’m really not leaving the house. She noted that the emergency surgery was a "super rare thing" and also not "age-related."

Kardashian and her ex Disick, 41, share son Mason, 14, daughter Penelope, 11, and son Reign, 9. Kardashian and Disick split in 2015 after being together for nine years. Kardashian and Blik-182 drummer Barker, 48, tied the knot in 2022 and have yet to reveal their son's face on social media.

Barker is also dad to son Landon , 20, and daughter Alabama , 18, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. Barker and Kardashian often post photos of their blended family , and the musician is also frequently spotted spending time with his former stepdaughter, Atiana , 25.
