I’m sure that everyone is familiar with the scripture that says: “The eyes of the Lord goes to and fro throughout the whole earth, beholding the good and the bad.”
God created us thousands of years ago, for the sole purpose to serve and worship him. Through the centuries, man has forgotten that. Even the church today has forgotten all about sanctification. The ones who have not forgotten about it get ostracized. People mock them and talk about them like a dog. That still does not change the fact that we must get saved (born again) and live a sanctified life.
I thank God for his patience and his mercy. Unfortunately, a lot of people use the patience and mercy of God as an opportunity to sin. Let me remind you of something that I said before: The day that you were born, there were angels assigned to you with books to write down everything you do in life until the day you die. This is whether you are saved or not. They’re writing down everything.
Now that you know that your life is being recorded, think about all the things you say and do every day. Everything is documented whether it is good or bad. And whether we are saved or unsaved, we will be judged by a holy God — the one and only true God. Many say they love the Lord, but the proof is in the pudding.
I am trying to get the church to see that the methods it is using to preach the gospel are not good enough anymore. The devil, in the last days, has gotten more forceful. We need a very close walk with the Lord. No one can just read their Bible once or twice a week and survive. Those days are long gone. And if you are going a whole week without reading the Word, Satan can make you his toy. No one would be able to tell you from a sinner. I want to live a life where, before I’m finished praying, the Lord is already answering.
We need that in this evil world. Just look at the weather. A storm could come by any day and destroy everything that you have. You and your family could be asleep in your home and you could have a home invasion. You could go to the doctor because of pain, and he could tell you that you have Stage 4 cancer. You could be driving down the street and fall asleep and wake up in front of an 18-wheeler. That is why sanctification is so important.
We will always be protected by the Lord. He will make sure that there are angels always on guard. All we have to do is love him, obey him and live a sanctified life. The Bible declares: “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name, he shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him, with long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91: 14-16.
