A List Of The Over 20 More FL Red Lobster Locations That Could Close, Per Bankruptcy Documents

    2024-06-09

By now, it's no secret that some Red Lobster locations across the country shuttered abruptly and that the company has filed for bankruptcy. In late May of 2024, the company's website suddenly listed 99 locations across the USA as "closed." In fact, I wrote about the following 15 Florida locations that showed up as "closed" on this unfortunate list at that time:

Locations Listed As "Closed" On The Red Lobster Website In May Of 2024:

Tampa - 2625 East Busch Blvd.

Tampa - 17021 Palm Pointe Dr.

Jacksonville - 13090 City Station Drive

Jacksonville - 416 Commerce Center Drive

    Jacksonville - 8720 Baymeadows Road

    Orlando - 3552 E. Colonial Drive

Orlando - 8003 Golden Sky Lane

    Altamonte Springs - 340 West SR 436

    Kissimmee: 4010 West Vine Street

    Largo: 10500 E Ulmerton Road

    Sanford: 20 Towne Center Circle

Daytona Beach Shores: 3162 S Atlantic Ave.

Auctions And What Bankruptcy Documents Reveal: Additionally, in the days that followed, items from the following Florida stores were auctioned off: Altamonte Springs, Gainesville, Hialeah, Largo, and Orlando.

And now, in recent bankruptcy documents, Red Lobster has listed some locations that may close if it cannot renegotiate the stores' leases. There were new Florida restaurants on the list. They are:

Locations That Could Close If Leases Can Not Be Renegotiated:

    Clermont - 2475 S Highway 27

    Clearwater - 26320 U.S. 19th North

Coral Springs - 2000 University Dr.

    Fort Lauderdale - 5950 N Federal Hwy

Fort Myers - 3801 Cleveland Ave

Fort Walton Beach - 326 Miracle Strip Pkwy S.W.

Kissimmee: 5690 Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy

    Lakeland: 3706 North Road 98

    Leesburg: 10010 US Highway 441

Melbourne: 2355 W. New Haven Ave

Merritt Island: 215 E Merritt Island Causeway

    Miami: 11550 SW 88th St.

    North Miami: 13300 Biscayne Blvd.

    Orange Park: 32 Blanding Blvd.

    Orlando: 617 N. Alafaya Trail

    Orlando: 9892 International Drive

    Pensacola: 5110 N 9th Ave.

Port Richey: 8909 US Highway 19

    Spring Hill: 2328 Commercial Way

St. Pete: 6151 34th Street North

    Tampa: 11601 N. Dale Mabry

    The Villages: 3830 Wedgewood Lane

West Palm Beach: 2201 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd

Please note that the above locations are not currently closed, as of this writing. They have been listed as "rejected leases" that if not renegotiated are at risk for closure. That said, Floridians with plans to eat at Red Lobster may want to call their local restaurant before heading out just to be safe.

Crazy thing, No one is talking about the real reason for the closures. Apparently A Hedge Fund group has gained a large portion of control and has brought about this collapse

Florida has an abundance of crappy food outlets. Closing a few will not change anything.
