Shooting in South Los Angeles Neighborhood Leaves 2 Wounded

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, June 9 (KNN) — A shooting in the Green Meadows neighborhood of South Los Angeles early Sunday morning left two people wounded.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Division patrol units responded to reports of a 19-year-old shooting victim shortly before 2 a.m. in the 600 block of East Century Boulevard.

When officers arrived on scene, they located the initial reported victim as well as a second shooting victim.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported both victims to a local hospital. The status of their conditions is not known at this time, according to a spokesperson for the LAPD.

Witnesses stated off camera that the shooting occurred at a party.

There are no further details at this time.
