    Apply for Lake Oswego’s language immersion program

    After registering your student with your neighborhood elementary school you may apply for Palisades World Language School, LOSD’s world language immersion program. Palisades is currently going through the lottery process for both the Spanish and Mandarin language paths. For more information and the application visit https://www.losdschools.org/domain/61.

    Donate your old musical instruments

    Do you have an old saxophone or trumpet hiding in your basement? Donate musical instruments to the Oregon Music Giving Organization, a local nonprofit started by Lakeridge High School students. For more information visit: https://www.oregonmusicgiving.org/.

    Lake Oswego Juneteenth

    Join the City of Lake Oswego, Respond to Racism, Black Student Unions of Lakeridge and Lake Oswego High School and the Women of Color Alliance to commemorate the end of slavery with a community celebration honoring the historic day. Lake Oswego Juneteenth is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 16 at Millennium Plaza Park. Performances and the main program begin at 12 p.m.

    Lake Grove Swim Park opens June 15

    The Lake Grove Swim Park opens June 15 for the 2024 season and will be open daily from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. until August 25, 2024. The park is managed and supervised by school personnel and students when not in school during the summer season.

    West Linn-Wilsonville

    Volunteer for CREST

    CREST can always use an extra hand. If you are interested in volunteering for CREST programs email Helena Kilstrom at kilstroh@wlwv.k12.or.us.

    WLWV Performing Arts Center seat program

    The West Linn Heritage Seat and Wilsonville Legacy Seat programs in association with WLWV Music and Arts Partners (MAP) were created to raise money for the performing arts centers. These funds are used to keep the facility in a state-of-the-art condition by paying for specialty items such as lighting, sound equipment and furnishings.
