Martin Lawrence is setting the record straight once again, debunking false reports and rumors about his health.

While on a press run to promote his highly anticipated film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Lawrence has found himself at the center of speculations and concerns from his devoted fans. As we previously reported, the rumors began swirling after an interview with Extra TV in May 2024, during which Lawrence appeared to slur and mispronounce some of his words. Of course, this raised eyebrows and led to speculation about the actor’s well-being. Additionally, at the red carpet premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die in Los Angeles, he was observed holding hands with his co-star, Will Smith, further fueling the speculation.

In response to the growing concerns, Lawrence took the opportunity to address the issue head-on during an appearance on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning in June 2024. With confidence and clarity, he reassured his fans that he is “healthy as hell” and urged everyone to put an end to the baseless rumors. But Martin Lawrence’s determination to set the record straight does not stop there. Once again, he is speaking out, leaving no room for doubt. He wants everyone to know unequivocally that he is doing well, stating, “Totally not true. Marty’s all good.” In the new interview, he went on to thank fans for continuing to show him love and support.

More On The New Bad Boys Movie:

The action comedy, reteaming the Guys, is the first major film of the summer of 2024 and of course, it already exceeded its expectations. The film has already smashed the summer box office with a domestic opening of $56 million and $104.6 million globally.

With the early success of the new film, fans are already asking for BB5. But will it happen?

During an earlier interview with Entertainment Tonight Martin Lawrence was in perfect agreement with his co-star, saying, “We’ll have to see,” about Bad Boys 5. “You know I never say never, but it also has to make sense. If the fans ask for it, you know we could be back… We always have so much fun making these movies… Will and I have a great time working together, so as long as the fans want it and the demand is there, I’ll keep trying to give them what they want.”
