Gypsy Rose Blanchard makes ex Ryan Anderson drink 'gross' prison recipe with instant coffee and soda

Gypsy Rose Blanchard 's recipe for a prison treat made her estranged husband disgusted.

During an episode of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up , she sent Ryan Anderson to go grocery shopping. When he arrived with the food, she decided to whip up one of her favorite creations which she calls a "rack." Gypsy explained: "When I was in prison, I told him about a favorite drink of mine.

"It's instant coffee with a soda. For flavor, you crush up Jolly Ranchers. Add that to it. You mix it all together and also juice and then you serve it over ice."

The concoction turned into a thick, syrupy liquid which foamed as she added in the soda. Gypsy said that the foam would settle as she continued working on the drink. She used a hammer to break up the Jolly Ranchers into bits while Ryan joked that he hoped her parole officer wouldn't walk in and see the powder everywhere.

She stirred in the last ingredients and poured it over ice for the pair. Gypsy also acknowledged that Ryan was unlikely to enjoy the drink since he's not a fan of coffee. "I can tell you right now I'm not going to like it. You see that chunk of s--- on top?" he said, referencing a bit of Jolly Rancher.

Ryan said it was "so bad" after taking a sip, but Gypsy was tickled to be drinking it again. She added: "I'd drink it every other day or so or at least twice a week."

While Ryan didn't like it, fans were intrigued. "Ooh she’s doing the energy drink tutorial on the show hahahahaha," one wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Drinking the rack with Gypsy is so camp."

The pair also hit a snag in the relationship shortly after with Ryan making a dig that Gypsy was acting "hormonal" as they discussed her wanting to get a dog. He didn't think it was a good idea due to the responsibility that comes along with having a puppy, but Gypsy felt that he was talking to her in the way someone would a child.
