DETROIT (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police investigators are asking for tips from the public after shots were fired on the Lodge Freeway over the weekend, injuring two people.

In an update shared by the MSP Second District Tuesday morning, officials said the suspect remains at large after "two male victims" were shot along the Northbound Lodge near 7 Mile Rd., at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 9.

Both of the victims, whose ages were not disclosed, survived the shooting, police said.

A motive is unknown at this time, and there is no description of the shooter or a suspect vehicle.

MSP Metro South Post detectives are asking anyone with information about this shooting to call 855-MICH-TIP, or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587).
