Miles Fallon: The Unofficial King of Summer

I've crowned Miles Fallon as our bicoastal king of summertime. Amongst road tripping, surfing, boating, and whatever else he gets into, he radiates his energy from Oregon to California to the East Coast to everywhere in between. The quintessential summer boy with classic good looks and flowing curly hair. A vibe bettered only when served with a permanent smile, something natural for Miles. To be fair, I haven’t spent that much time with him but whenever I do, I'm in a good mood because he's in a good mood. I'm laidback because he's laid back. I'm ready to have fun because he's ready to have fun. That's the type of rejuvenating perennial charm he exudes. So what better time than now to check in with our unofficial king of summer to see how he plans to spend the next few honey-soaked months under the sun.

Where are you right now?
Right now I'm in New Jersey at my parents' house on the shore.

How was your winter?
My winter was fun! Was cut a little short, but was able to film some stuff and do some fun events, so overall was a good time.

Why was it cut short?
In April I accidentally broke my ankle a little. I fractured it a little, haha. Just like a lil. So I had to chill and do a lot of physical therapy.

I hate when that happens. What have you been doing to not get depressed? Although I feel like you've never been sad a day in your life.
Haha, I try to stay happy, but sometimes everybody gets bummed. I think it’s healthy to voice your emotions. Luckily, I have great friends and family, so I vent to them. But the physical therapy is great. I love working out and running, so that’s been huge help recently to keep my mind off boarding.

I’ve crowned you as the king of summer because I feel like you’re always either surfing somewhere or being the fun guy at Hood. What are your summer plans this year?
I’ll be at Hood at the end of the month for CAPiTA week! Then hit the coast and drive back to Jersey! Then I got some plans to go to Tahiti 🤫 and maybe a trip to Australia, too. Very excited. Very blessed.

Drive back to Jersey from California?! OMG sounds like the summer of dreams. Surfing in all those places, I imagine?
Yes, driving back. I do it almost every summer. Go see friends in Michigan. It’s fun. And yeah, I’ll be surfing and doing some stuff for Quiky, I think.

Fuck, marry, kill: skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing.
This is a crazy one. I guess I would fuck surfing, marry snowboarding, and kill skating.

Yeah, it’s a mean question. Well, I'm sure summer camp will miss you being their signature DJ.
I will miss being DJ number 1. I worked at camp last summer; it was one of the best summers of my life. It's pretty cool sharing the love of snowboarding with humans of all ages. Just great vibes up there. It's a special place.
