Showers, thunderstorms expected

The National Weather Service office in Duluth has issued a hazardous weather outlook for much of northern and western Wisconsin to include Price County on Tuesday and Wednesday, with possible continued weather throughout the week.

For Tuesday afternoon and evening, a few strong storms with an isolated threat for hail are possible in east central Minnesota, and across into Wisconsin to the Solon Springs and Hayward areas.

For Price County there is a 50% chance of showers on Tuesday, with thunderstorms also possible after 4 p.m. The high temperature should reach 67 degrees.

There is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a low around 52 degrees. On Wednesday there is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. It should remain mostly sunny, with a high near 81 degrees.

There is a 70% chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm on Wednesday night before 1 a.m. A quarter to a half-inch of rain is possible. The low will be around 59 degrees.

There is a 10% chance of thunderstorms before 7 a.m. on Thursday. It should be mostly sunny, with a high near 78 degrees. On Thursday night it should be mostly clear with a low around 49 degrees.

It should be sunny on Friday with a high near 75 degrees. On Friday night it should become partly cloudy with a low around 52 degrees.

There is a slight chance of showers on Saturday, with thunderstorms possible after 1 p.m. the high should be near 73 degrees. Showers are likely along with a possible thunderstorm on Saturday night. It should be mostly cloudy with a low around 58 degrees.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday and Sunday night, with a high near 84 degrees, and a low around 63 degrees. The chance for showers and thunderstorms continues into Monday, with a high near 84 degrees.
