Besides their wedding rings staying firmly on that finger lately, the couple reportedly spent some significant time together on Sunday, away from prying eyes.

An eyewitness spotted the couple at their $61 million Beverly Hills estate for four hours, according to Page Six. While Affleck left the residence by himself, perhaps their former home was a safe haven for them to hash things out. TMZ confirmed over the weekend that Lopez and Affleck had put their property on the market for “around $65 million” with realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency. TMZ founder Harvey Levin discussed how much effort the estranged couple put into finding their dream home.

“It has been two years. They looked at over 80 properties until they settled on this one. It’s an off-the-market listing,” Levin explained. “They bought it for a little over $60 million , but it’s a loss because in LA now, you have a mansion tax, which is millions and millions of dollars. You’ve got a realtor’s fee. And I didn’t know this until this weekend, they did a ton of improvements on the house. And so, they are going to lose millions of dollars. It’s not a great time to buy this [property.]”

A source for People also updated the status on Bennifer 2.0 by noting, “They’re still friendly and see each other every few days.” The dynamic duo is staying connected through their blended family by attending those end-of-year milestones together, including Violet Affleck’s graduation party, and Samuel Affleck’s basketball game. “It’s a good sign they were at the game together,” a second insider added.

An insider for Fox News Digital seems to put a lot of the hesitancy about the marriage on Affleck. “He seems to have pulled back and is trying less and less. He’s really thrown himself into work and is focused on that right now more than his marriage.” It’s been a rough time for Lopez and Affleck, but they are hoping that their differences don’t keep them apart forever — maybe it’s just a bump in the road.
