The Junkies aren't quite sure about Chris Simms' 2024 Top 40 QBs list

Austin Ekeler gave Jayden Daniels an interesting QB comp this week, but in his annual Top 40 QBs list, Chris Simms did not, as he has Daniels ranked No. 28, ahead of only a dozen QBs (including old pal Jacoby Brissett).

    Wait, really?

“He’s got Will Levis ahead of him, and Jason's got me in my brain about Will Levis,” EB said. “I’m not big on Will Levis.”

“Here’s the pro argument for Levis: he's gonna have Brian Callahan coming in from Cincinnati, who's a more progressive offensive play caller than what he's previously had, and they upgraded the wideout room by signing Calvin Ridley, and DeAndre Hopkins is there,” Cakes said. “I mean, it's not the best setup, but it's not terrible, and they signed Tony Pollard, so he has some decent pieces around him. Is that a playoff team? Probably not, but there are certainly worse setups in the league.”

He’s also coming off a sex tape, as was noted, so there is that, but Michael Penix Jr. is ahead of Daniels by one spot, which all the guys think is nuts given Penix might not even play in 2024 – and Drake Maye, who may or may not play behind Brissett in the 30s, isn’t even on the list.

“Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder and every list is wacky, with outliers,” EB said. “Always gotta do something to make your list stand out.”

“I'm sorry, Drake Maye is, and will be for the rest of his life, better than Kenny Pickett and Jarrett Stidham, and he’s not even in his Top 40,” Bish replied.

And Deshaun Watson is 24, one spot below Daniel Jones, so the list is quite interesting – take a listen to the Junkies’ entire discussion on the list above!
