“AGT” Dancer Who Lost His Leg To Cancer Gives “Unbelievable” Audition: “It Kept On Getting Better”

A Brazilian dancer who lost his leg to cancer as a teenager showed off amazing breakdancing skills during tonight’s AGT auditions.

Bboy Samuka, who auditioned during the June 11 installment of America’s Got Talent , walked on stage and shared an inspiring backstory with judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara. He explained that at 13, doctors found cancer in his right leg, and they were forced to amputate.

Around that same time, he found dance, and it “changed” his life.

“That’s why I’m here,” he said.

Bboy admitted that he has a dream of winning AGT so he can buy his mother a house and support others with cancer. Simon wished him luck and said everyone was “rooting” for him.

Using forearm crutches, Bboy broke into an exciting dance to James Brown’s Get Up, Get Into It, Get Involved. He spun on his arms, leg, and crutches, and added acrobatic moves. Halfway through, he ditched his crutches and showed amazing strength as he continued his routine.

Before Bboy Samuka finished, the judges were on their feet clapping and cheering along. As soon as the music stopped, he took an emotional bow as the crowd roared with praise and applause.

Simon Cowell Gives “AGT” Dancer A 12 Out Of 10

“It’s hard to describe,” said Heidi. “It was good in the beginning, and it just kept getting better and wilder—and more flips, and more flips. It was incredible.”

“So I tell you what, the whole of Brazil, and the whole world is going to watch this. And applaud you,” Simon added.

After mentioning that Bboy’s routine reminded him of the Olympics, Simon said that he thought the dance was a 12 out of 10.

“You really are an inspiration,” he continued.

Sofia shared that dancing is her favorite part of America’s Got Talent , and admitted that he was one of the “best” she’s ever seen.

All four judges gave Bboy Samuka a “yes,” which means he has the chance to win the $1 million grand prize and make his dreams come true . Watch AGT on Tuesdays on NBC at 8 PM ET to follow Bboy’s moving story.
