Cable Country Store to be held June 21

The public is invited to attend the annual Country Store and Luncheon at Cable United Church of Christ on Friday, June 21.

The Women’s Fellowship country store will feature a jam and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The salad bar luncheon will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for a $12 fee. This will include bread and a beverage, with desserts to purchase from the bake sale. Take-outs will be available.

The Cable UCC Second Chapter Thrift Shop will also be open

for visitors to shop. Some of the funds raised at this event will be

donated to support community organizations.

June 21 is also “Make Music Day” in Cable, a festival of music making, celebrated every year on the Summer Solstice.
