    Uniting Against Violence: A Call to Action

    Recently on The Rashad Richey Morning Show , founder of Children Soar, Inc. , India Cade and Senior Founder of the South Fulton Ministerial Alliance Bishop Greg Fann Sr. , discussed an upcoming event aimed at addressing youth violence.

    Scheduled for June 22nd, the event, titled " Trouble is Easy to Get Into, Hard to Get Out Of ," will feature discussions on the challenges facing young people in marginalized neighborhoods. Ms. Cade emphasized the importance of mentorship and support in steering youth away from violence, drawing from her own experiences growing up in challenging environments.

    Bishop Fann echoed these sentiments, stressing the need for collective community action to tackle the root causes of youth violence. He invited parents and young people to attend the event, where firsthand accounts from individuals who have grappled with the consequences of violence will be shared.

    The conversation touched on a range of topics, including poverty, lack of opportunities, and societal pressures. Mr. Cade and Bishop Fann shared stories about young people who have been impacted by violence, including those who have lost loved ones or been caught up in cycles of retaliation.

    The discussion also highlighted the importance of community-led initiatives in supporting marginalized communities. Ms. Cade, also touched on her organization, Children Soar, Inc., has been working tirelessly to provide mentorship, support, and resources to young people in need.

    In particular, the importance of community involvement was stressed, with Ms. Cade emphasizing the need for individuals to join the upcoming event on June 22nd.
