Netflix Takes Subscribers to New Heights in Epic Documentary Skywalkers: A Love Story

A brand new documentary of epic scale is heading to Netflix next month following two daredevils who make a living out of climbing the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Skywalkers: A Love Story premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize, and the official logline from Netflix reveals a little more about what viewers can expect.

Part romance, part thriller, this film follows a daredevil couple as they take their relationship to terrifying new heights in a wild scheme to climb the world's second highest skyscraper and perform a death-defying stunt on the spire.

Netflix has now released the official trailer, putting viewers at the heart of the action and transporting them to new heights.

The trailer introduces us to our protagonists, Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, two skywalkers who have made a living out of putting their lives at risk to get the perfect shot atop some of the scariest heights in the world.

The documentary takes us along for the ride on their risky escapades while also documenting the blossoming romance between the duo across numerous years.

When the pandemic hits, business slows down, and the couple hatch a plan to perform their most ambitious stunt yet.

Skywalkers: A Love Story premieres July 19 on Netflix.
