Stuffed Salami and Pepper Jack Cheese Omelet

Treat Dad this Father's Day with a delectable stuffed omelet featuring salami and pepper jack cheese. This hearty breakfast option is sure to impress and satisfy his taste buds.

    Ingredients:

    • 6 to 8 eggs
    • 3 to 4 slices of salami
    • 1/4 cup of grated pepper jack cheese
    • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning salt
    • Canola oil for the skillet

    Instructions:

Begin by cracking open six to eight eggs in a bowl. Whisk the eggs until they are light and fluffy.

To elevate the flavors, add 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper for a subtle kick and warmth in every bite. Additionally, include 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning salt to enhance the natural flavors of the ingredients.

Heat a large non-stick skillet with a small amount of canola oil, ensuring it is well coated to prevent sticking. Once the skillet is hot, pour in the whisked eggs, spreading them evenly across the pan. Cook on medium-low heat.

After about 6 minutes of cooking, sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese on top of the omelet. The cheese will melt beautifully, adding a rich and creamy texture to the dish.

Next, place 3 to 4 slices of salami in the center of the omelet, overlapping the pieces. Fold one side of the omelet over the meat, then fold the other side over it, resembling the appearance of a burrito.

The gooey cheese acts as glue to hold the omelet together. Cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes.

    Serve and enjoy!
