Preliminary winners announced at 2024 Miss Arkansas competition

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The preliminary winners of the Miss Arkansas and Miss Arkansas Teen 2024 were announced during the first round of the competition Tuesday night.
Below is the list of winners for the 86 th Annual Miss Arkansas Competition:
Miss Sweetheart of Arkansas Ava Weeks won the Preliminary Talent Award
Miss UCA Kennedy Holland won the Preliminary Evening Gown Award
Miss White River Camille Cathey won the Preliminary On-Stage Interview Award
Miss Dogwood Bella Bauer won the Preliminary Healthy and Fitness Award
Weeks will receive a $2,000 scholarship from the Miss Arkansas Crown Club for her performance of “I Dreamed a Dream.” Holland will receive a $1000 scholarship from The Royal We and Bauer will receive a $500 scholarship from Innovative Claim Services. Cathey will receive a $1000 scholarship provided by Traci Lewellen in honor of former Miss Arkansas Dr. Darynne Dahlem.
Below is the list of winners for the 86 th Annual Miss Arkansas Teen Competition:
Lights of the Delta’s Teen Sophie Puckett won Preliminary Talent Award
White River’s Teen Kennedy Carter won Preliminary Evening Gown Award
Dogwood’s Teen Peyton Bolling won Preliminary Health & Fitness Award
Puckett will receive a $500 scholarship from The Parker Family for her tap dance performance of “Blue Suede Shoes.” Carter will receive a $500 scholarship sponsored by The Royal We and Bolling will receive a $500 scholarship sponsored by the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation.
The competition will continue Wednesday and Thursday, with the Miss Arkansas’ Teen preliminaries beginning at 3 p.m. and Miss Arkansas beginning at 7 p.m.
The 2024 Miss Arkansas Teen will be crowned Friday, June 14, and the Miss Arkansas 2024 will be crowned Saturday, June 15. Viewers can watch live on KARK.com. at 7 p.m.
