General Hospital fans praise 'subtle changes' to actress' appearance while slamming her character

Fans might have their beef with the writers, but they can't help but praise the General Hospital cosmetics department.

After the show shared a photo of Genie Francis, who plays Laura Spencer on the show, fans raved about her beauty , crediting the hairstylists on set. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: "Compliments to hairstyling. Everyone has looked even more beautiful than ever and I've noticed subtle changes to hairstyles that are very flattering."

Other fans chimed in to agree. "Genie is so beautiful, love her hair," wrote one. Another added, "Genie is so beautiful, love her hair." However, Genie's beauty won't course correct the path Laura is on and fans aren't loving what's going down with her in the show. A third fan said: "Laura might have lost her mind but her hair looks great in that picture."

However, fans are fighting to see a change in Laura's current plot line as she continues to spread herself a bit thin on the brink of insanity. She's dedicated a lot of her time to helping Heather with the hopes of getting her free. She's empathetic towards her cause, but fans think that's just too far off-character for her.

"Laura is going to find herself back in the muppet wing with this idiotic story redemption for Heather. Doing Genie Francis dirty," complained one fan. Another griped: "They rather have Laura looking stupid with Heather than write a real story for her and #KevLaur. That’s why I don’t watch this crap anymore."

Some fans even are starting to hate Laura, altogether, despite her glowing appearance. "Idk what happened to Laura’s brain but it’s been replaced with rocks. Curtis and Portia came to her with concerns about Heather going free and she got testy with them. Alexis tells her that Heather could be freed and now she’s shocked that it’s a possibility," a fan said.

It wasn't only Genie who received some praise for their looks. A fan added: "To balance things out with a positive TJ tweet, Tajh looks great in the turquoise t-shirt he has on today! He also wore it in his 2021 promo headshot."
