Meri Brown Confirms Sister Wives Return and Addresses Kody’s Marital Status

The Sister Wives cast might be in a weird spot, but Meri Brown isn’t done with the franchise yet. As fans know, the show was predicated on Kody Brown’s relationship with his four wives.

Of course, as time went on, those relationships started crumbling. Eventually, Kody would get divorced from three of his wives, including Meri. But as they say, the show must go on.

Even though Meri won’t be Kody’s wife anymore, she’ll still be part of the drama. And while confirming her return, Meri also confirmed certain hunches about Kody.

Meri claims Kody will remain monogamous with Robyn

While on the Miss Understood Podcast, Meri confirmed that she’d return to Sister Wives for Season 19. Rachel Uchitel asked, “Season 19 is happening this year, correct? Are you part of it?” Meri responded rather coyly, saying, “I’m around.” She confirmed that she was excited for the upcoming season while also confirming, “I’m not going anywhere.”

During Meri’s chat with Rachel, the two also spoke quite a bit about Robyn Brown , Kody’s remaining wife. Rachel mentioned the longstanding rumors that Kody only took up an interest in Robyn to try and make the potential show all the more appealing. However, Meri shut that idea down. She confirmed that Robyn and Kody were talking even before the show was in the works.

Rachel also questioned Robyn’s feelings amid Kody’s divorces. “I think it was real,” Meri confirmed, referring to Robyn’s distress at losing her sister wives. “Even though they seem like they’re in a monogamous relationship?” Rachel asked. “They are,” Meri confirmed.

When Rachel asked if Kody and Robyn might add another person to their marriage, Meri said, “Oh, I highly doubt they will. I would be shocked. He’s not going to – no. I’ve heard him say it.” Nevertheless, despite Robyn being happy in a monogamous relationship, Meri didn’t question her pain as Kody’s polygamous marriage fell apart.
