Pike County Kids’ Fishing Day at Clay Hill Farms in Pronto is only three days away. The fish are already jumping and the kids are, surely, excited to enjoy a day of fishing fun.

Registration for kids ages 5 to 15 begins at 7 a.m. Saturday, Father’s Day, and fishing begins at 8 a.m. and will end at 10:30 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded for the kid with the heaviest stringer in each age division. Lunch will be served and there will be opportunities for prizes.

Pike County Kids’ Fishing Day is sponsored by Wal-Mart, Alabama Conservation Enforcement Officers Association, the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division and Pike County TREASURE Forest. The annual event is partially funded by the Federal Sport Fish Restoration Program.
