    Woman Uses Pretty Dollar Tree Find to Give Historic Kitchen a Colorful Makeover

    DIYers agree, peel-and-stick wallpaper and contact paper is an absolute game changer. Whoever made that is an absolute genius. From adding a stunning accent wall to your bedroom to crafting faux butcher block countertops in a kitchen and covering your ugly cabinets in your rental property, there are so many uses for peel-and-stick. Sure, it's not a lifelong solution like traditional wallpaper, paint, or new counters. But for renters and homeowners on a tight budget and low on time, it's a godsend.

    Traditionally peel-and-stick paper is pretty inexpensive, at least compared to gallons of paint and actually wallpaper. However, if you're doing a large area, even this handy accessory can start to add up. So, when we saw that Dollar Tree was selling sheets of it for $1.25 a piece, we knew we had to relay the message.

    If you don't already follow interior designer @ annabellucci_ , you definitely should. Her style is feminine, whimsical, and vintage all the way. She currently has a series where she shows her followers updates she's making to her Airbnb in her historic apartment building. She recently painted the kitchen cabinets pink (swoon) and in her latest installation, she lined them with a playful peel-and-stick paper she got from Dollar Tree. The paper, which was only $1.25 a piece matches seamlessly with her cabinet color and adds a funky feel to the entire room.

    Where to Add Peel-and-Stick

    If you're a renter or homeowner on a budget looking for s emi-permanent ways to transform your home , look no further than peel-and-stick. From tiles to wallpaper and beyond, they make almost anything in peel-and-stick form these days. While you might not be able to find tiles at Dollar Tree, you can find individual sheets that can be used for a small accent wall, to line cabinets, or to act as a faux backsplash in a kitchen. If you want to swap out flooring or change the look of your kitchen counters, look at Amazon and Wayfair for a larger selection.

    Peel-and-stick has undoubtedly changed the DIY game. Now, even people with no experience installing wallpaper can transform the look of their homes. It's easy to work with, can be removed quicker than traditional wallpaper , and is way less expensive than other options. A win-win!
