    The Escambia County Board of Education June 13 approved the following personnel recommendations:

    Retirement

    • Shannon Folsom, as bus driver with the Brewton Bus Shop, effective May 31;
    • Paul Pearson, as bus driver with the Atmore Bus Shop, effective June 1;

    Resignation

    • Shonnan Taylor, as six-hour lunchroom worker at Escambia County High School, effective May 13;

    Employment

    • David Strickland, as physical education teacher at Flomaton Elementary School, effective Aug. 1, replacing Troy Brown;
    • Sunni Jackson, as instructional aide at FES, effective Aug. 1, replacing Tracy Padgett;
    • Rebecca White, as counselor at Huxford Elementary School, effective Aug. 1, replacing Jennifer Strawbridge;
    • Nicholas Golden, as science teacher at Pollard McCall Junior High School, effective Aug. 1, replacing Eva Rowland;
    • Nikki Golden, as elementary teacher at PMJHS, effective Aug. 1, replacing Noelle Morris;
    • Toby Jenkins, as physical education teacher at PMJHS, effective Aug. 1, replacing Ronald Hall;
    • Shawaungela DeLoach, as assistant principal at Rachel Patterson Elementary School, effective July 24, replacing Raquel Davis;
    • Megan Hall, as special education teacher at W.S. Neal Middle School, effective Aug. 1, replacing Paula Spicer;

    • Marissa White, from teacher aide to pre-k teacher at FES, effective Aug. 1, replacing Sarah Ziglar;
