EverQuest Celebrates 25 Years In First-Ever Fippy Fest

Daybreak and Darkpaw Games will be hosting its first Fippy Fest livestream, celebrating the 25th anniversary of EverQuest and EverQuest II.

EverQuest and EverQuest II fans and experts, rejoice! Daybreak’s studio Darkpaw Games is celebrating the anniversaries for their most iconic 3D fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing franchises for their spectacular run of 25 years for the original game, and 20 years for the second. They have dubbed this first-time event “Fippy Fest” in honour of the staple character Fippy Darkpaw. To prioritize its inclusivity, this celebration will be a digital-first livestream event. The livestream will be streaming this weekend.

What better way to elevate the Year of Darkpaw: An EverQuest Celebration than this! Darkpaw has put in a lot of work to bring the biggest audience together, from worldwide and various eras of fans. Audiences will be able to experience the past 28 years of active development on the franchise. The studio also noted that Q&A panels have returned from back in the days of Fan Faires, where players asked questions directly with the developers of EverQuest and EverQuest II .
