Do you ever have those days when you can’t decide what you feel like eating? If this is something you frequently encounter, this creative mashup is something you may find intriguing. While it may be a little unexpected, it looks pretty tasty.

This cultural fusion makes this meal, traditionally eaten with chopsticks (or a fork), much easier to take on the road. Check out this June 10 video to see this innovative concept.

Although this idea initially had me scratching my head, it’s hard to argue that this finished product doesn’t look delicious! Judging by the audience's reactions to X Creator @ JoshyBeSloshy ’s post, this new concept could be the next best thing in fast food. Even though tortillas and burritos might be a Mexican staple, Panda Express cleverly uses them as a vessel for their orange chicken. What’s not to like? This burrito is filled with chow mein, fried rice, and orange chicken, which isn’t all that different from black beans, Mexican rice, protein, and some veggies at Chipotle. And if you’re craving Chinese food and need to eat in the car, this handheld meal is much easier to manage than a bowl and a pair of chopsticks .

    Does Panda Express Use MSG?

Even though nearly every fast-food chain on the market adds MSG to their chicken and other menu items these days, Panda Express is not one of them. Their website states, “No MSG added except for that naturally occurring in certain ingredients.” It’s funny to think about growing up in the ‘70s & ‘80s when people stopped eating Chinese food because of the MSG. While many still associate stomach aches with Asian cuisine because of this chemical additive, most restaurants stopped using it in response to consumer demand. However, it quietly worked its way into most chicken chains and even restaurants like Wendy’s without anyone paying it much mind. But if you’re anything like me, and you get these unfortunate side effects, you likely stopped eating fast food many years ago.

People were on board with this idea overall. Viewer @Brett responded, “Yeah, hibachi steak and chicken, fried rice, Yum Yum sauce rolled into a burrito is phenomenal.” Viewer @Tropical remarked, “This is so uncultured and unhealthy. Trust American fast food to do this. I’ll take 5 to go.” LOL! Although it seems odd, it also looks tasty. Another person kidded, “An orange chicken burrito…my DoorDash expenses 'bout to be crazy!” That’s probably true for many people.

The next time you can’t decide between Asian and Mexican, Panda Express might have just what you’ve been searching for. There is something about an orange chicken burrito that sounds irresistible.
