In graduation ceremonies across the Twin Counties, memories were made

Parents, teachers and students in Nash and Edgecombe counties have had a lot to celebrate in May and June. The Telegram asked area educators to send in photos commemorating the graduation ceremonies that have taken place over the last two months. Featured in this weekend’s edition of the Telegram are the graduation ceremonies at North East Carolina Preparatory School and at Nash County Public Schools.

North East Carolina Prep is a tuition-free public charter school in Tarboro. The school celebrated its 64 graduates in its commencement ceremony this spring.

Nash County Public Schools graduated approximately 1,011 seniors in a series of ceremonies across various high schools, also this spring.

We could likely spend all summer celebrating the graduating seniors in the Twin Counties, and we likely should. In the email, in addition to attaching a photo of your graduate in full regalia, include the following information so that we can publish it in our upcoming Community pages and add it to our online photo gallery of area graduation celebrations:
