    Paulding County grand jury returns six indictments

    PAULDING — A Paulding County grand jury has returned indictments against six persons, according to Prosecutor Joe Burkard’s office.

    Indicted were:

    • Jason Middleton, 43, Bryan, for aggravated possession of drugs, a first-degree felony, with a specification for forfeiture of an automobile.

    • Jeremy Shaffer, 43, Oakwood, for felonious assault, a second-degree felony, with a specification for forfeiture of property; and criminal damaging or endangering, a first-degree misdemeanor.

    • Nicholas Decker, 45, Grover Hill, for aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony.

    • Larry Dix, 42, Paulding, for illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, a third-degree felony; nonsupport of dependents, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

    • Brandon Moser, 22, Bryan, for grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony; and failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a first-degree misdemeanor.

    • Norman Esparza, 49, Cecil, for two counts of pandering obscenity, each a fifth-degree felony.
