    Three Minnesota motorcyclists injured in separate crashes with deer

    Three Minnesota motorcyclists were injured in separate crashes involving deer on Friday.

    The first crash occurred just after 1:30 p.m. when a Yamaha motorcycle was traveling west on highway 60 in Wabasha County. The motorcyclist struck a deer on the road before entering a ditch near milepost 213.

    The motorcyclist, identified as a 72-year-old Red Wing man, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

    Next, a Harley traveling east on Highway 68 in Blue Earth County struck a deer near milepost 135 just after 9:30 p.m. The motorcyclist, a 67-year-old Minneapolis man, also sustained non-life injuries and was taken to the hospital.

    The final crash occurred just after 10:30 p.m. in Faribault County when a Harley struck a deer while traveling south on Highway 169 near milepost 25.

    The motorcyclist, a 39-year-old North Mankato man, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
