When the time comes to shop around for new or pre-owned EVs, Tesla is an obvious go-to. Whether you prefer a sedan, SUV, or pickup truck, the electric car giant has something for everyone. The Model X is often overlooked, as it is more expensive than the Model Y and doesn't have quite as much of a fanbase across its various trims. That said, there is a market for it. Tesla, as a brand, sees better second-hand sale prices than most EV manufacturers, and this applies to all of its current fleet.

For all those lamenting the fact Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD models were no longer eligible for the full $7,500 EV Tax Credit, we have good news. According to Fueleconomy.gov, 2024 models are once again eligible for the tax credit, and it appears this is reflected on Tesla's website when building out a custom model, but the company has yet to make an announcement. This means the $47,490 model can now be acquired for $39,990 at the point of sale.

Electric car maker Rivian’s shares soared as much as 28% Wednesday after Volkswagen revealed it would invest up to $5 billion to jumpstart the Tesla rival’s growth.
