John Mulaney Posted Then Deleted A Photo Of Himself Wearing A Ring On That Finger, So People Are Convinced That He Has Secretly Married Olivia Munn

In May 2021, it was announced that John Mulaney and his wife, Anna Marie Tendler, were divorcing after six years together.

Just three days later, it was first reported that John was dating Olivia Munn, and in September 2021, John announced that Olivia was pregnant .

During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers , John also clarified the timeline of his relationship with Olivia, saying that he had moved out of his home with Anna Marie in October 2020.

Olivia gave birth to her and John’s first child, Malcolm, in November 2021, and in a Father’s Day post on Sunday, John sparked speculation that he and Olivia have since secretly married.

As he marked the day on his Instagram account, John’s eagle-eyed followers noticed that he had posted and then quickly deleted a photo of himself with Malcolm that showed a ring on that finger.

In the picture, John is preparing a baked potato with the jewelry visible on his left hand, and his son is beside him wearing a T-shirt that reads: “Yes. I know I look like my daddy.”

After deleting the picture, John shared two other photos of himself with Malcolm for Father’s Day. In one of the images, John’s left hand is visible, and he is not wearing a ring.

But this wasn’t enough of a decoy for fans, who shared a screenshot of John’s original post to a Reddit forum to discuss what it could mean.

Others speculated that Olivia’s recent cancer diagnosis may have been a factor in them getting hitched, with Olivia revealing in March of this year that she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts in 2023.

Earlier this year, Olivia revealed that after her cancer diagnosis, she and John decided to “ try one more round of egg retrievals ” because they knew that they weren’t “done growing [their] family” and that the treatment could impact her fertility.
