UTV crash in Trempealeau County sends one boy to the hospital

TOWN OF PIGEON, Wis. (WKBT) -- Inattentive driving is to blame for a UTV crash Sunday night that sent one boy to the hospital.

That's according to a release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office that says two juveniles were in a UTV headed north on Thompson Coulee Road when it ran off the road near Lake Lane into a ditch and down a steep embankment. The call came in at 7:21 p.m.

The UTV hit a tree before turning onto its side.

The occupants were both boys under the age of 18. An ambulance took the driver to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger had minor injuries and was released to his parents.
