Jon Bon Jovi encourages Lzzy Hale to keep rocking with Skid Row

HALESTORM frontwoman Lzzy Hale just wrapped up her short and bloody run singing for Skid Row , and received some amazing kudos after it was all said and done.

Following her final show of four with Skid Row which took place in Sacramento, CA on June 1, Hale told host Eddie Trunk the response from fans was amazing, adding that she had been "hearing from people that have been seeing Skid Row since 1987 and are just raving about what I bring to the table." Lzzy added, "For me, it is friends helping out friends, but it’s also this beautiful milestone in my life where I’m literally being challenged to fill in the shoes that I’ve always wanted to fill from being a kid.”

One person who is quite familiar with the youths gone wild is Jon Bon Jovi , who toured with Skid Row on Bon Jovi 's New Jersey outing back in the late '80s and early '90s. During a recent appearance on Rock Sound , Jon was asked a question provided by Hale, but before he answered he chose to lay down the gauntlet. “She should please join Skid Row,” Bon Jovi said. “Please, Lzzy Hale, join Skid Row. Put the two bands together, if you need to,” he added.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be in the cards, as Hale has already alluded to not being in the right place at the moment to take on the role with Skid Row full-time, saying on social media. “Even though this particular time in my life prevents me from committing to a permanent role in Skid Row…I am sending in my official request to the universe that we will be able to join forces again down the road.”
