Jeannie Mai’s Dad Joins Her Daughter Monaco in Ballet Class & Swim Lessons in Precious New Videos

Jeannie Mai shared the most heartwarming Father’s Day tribute to her dad, and you might want to get the tissues ready. The TV host shared a carousel of photos and videos of her dad with her daughter Monaco (as well as an epic childhood throwback of Mai and her parents!), and it’s all too cute to handle.

“His unwavering commitment to love is unmatched by anyone I know,” Mai began her touching caption . “He’s the dad who would drive 7 hours just to surprise me when Monaco feels nervous about her swim lessons.”

You read that correctly. Seven hours. To support his granddaughter who was feeling nervous about swim lessons. And Mai has the receipts! Two videos in the carousel are of her dad lovingly holding, bouncing, and catching little Monaco in the pool. Are you freaking kidding me?! To say it’s “sweet” would be an insult to her dad because it’s so much more than just “sweet.”

“He’s the dad who still checks on my mom’s father, even though they’re no longer together,” Mai continued, giving us a glimpse at what her co-parenting relationship with ex-husband Jeezy might look like. “He’s the dad who texts me psychology parenting studies, because he too, wants to upgrade how we parent. I say it all the time.. the reason why it’s easy for me to receive God’s love, is because I’ve felt that kinda love from my Dad since day 1.”

(I’m not crying, you’re crying!)

The carousel on Instagram also included a video of Mai’s dad with Monaco at her ballet class, encouraging her to stand on her dot and point her toe and later helping her stretch. When she comes back up from reaching for her toes she says, “Stinky!” Ha! You’re feet can definitely get stinky after breaking a sweat with Grandpa.

Oh, and don’t even get us started on the video of Mai’s dad folding his granddaughter’s laundry on the floor of her bedroom, thinking no one is watching or the clip of them walking in the rain. (Coco is rocking her dinosaur suit , of course.)
