Krispy Kreme is Celebrating the Summer Solstice With $1 Dozens

The days are getting hotter, the nights are shorter, and the countdown to the first day of summer is on! Everyone is excited for the Summer Solstice, which is on Thursday, June 20 this year, and Krispy Kreme is ready to celebrate with some hot deals on some sweet treats.

Krispy Kreme’s “Hot Light” is iconic. It means a store is open and making fresh, hot doughnuts, and it makes our mouths water every time we see it.

So, because summer solstice has the longest amount of daylight of any day of the year, Krispy Kreme is prepping to celebrate the day with some Hot Light Deals. We don't want to miss these!

Hot Days and Delicious Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme is offering Hot Light Happy Hours and a Hot Light-est Day of Year promotion this week, and this looks too good to pass us.

“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate summer’s official start than some sweet deals on our iconic Original Glazed dozens,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s Global Chief Brand Officer.

Monday through Wednesday, Krispy Kreme’s Hot Light Happy Hour will take place at participating stores nationwide. That means from 5- 7 p.m., customers can get half-off a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for those three nights. How sweet!

No additional purchase is necessary, but there is a limit of two dozen per customer. The deal is available both in stores and when you order online using the promo code “HOTNOW.”

But it doesn't stop there!

On Thursday, which is the first official day of summer, Krispy Kreme is celebrating with a BOGO deal. When you buy one dozen of your favorite doughnuts, you can get a second Original Glazed dozen for just $1.

Want to try the all-new Dolly Parton collection ? Need a little treat after a long day of work? Like to create a mismatched box of your favorite Krispy Kreme classics?

Once you buy that first dozen, the second Original Glazed dozen is too cheap to pass up, so you may as well grab a box. Plus, they make great treats for loved ones and they can be frozen for quick breakfasts throughout the week.

The $1 dozen promotion runs all day Thursday and can be redeemed in stores and when you order online with the promo code “SUMMER.”

Also on Thursday, randomly selected guests will be treated to a free Original Glazed dozen with no purchase necessary.
