These wives have it so good. There is nothing we envy more than a wife of a handyman or carpenter. And bonus points if the guy is both!

This handy husband knew his wife needed more storage space in her new pantry so instead of just buying a new cabinet, he decided to go all out for his lady and tear down half of the entire wall. Not only would this save her space in the long run, but it gave the pantry the final upgrade it needed.

If you're anything like us, you'll definitely be jealous of the one feature he added.

TikTok creator Greg @thenavagepatch is a husband first and a handyman second. With over one million followers, Greg shares his various home projects that he takes on with his wife whom he affectionately calls "the shrimp." He has completed dozens of projects for his darling shrimp and has totally mastered the arts of DIYing and home renovation along the way. You might recognize Greg from his viral video where he and his wife decided to lime wash their entire house and the trees in their front yard! Their Florida home has become a gorgeous haven for their family as well as an inspiration to us all.

    The Spice Shelf Recessed Cabinet

Recently, Greg renovated his wife's pantry and decided that she needed a little more shelf space for her spice collection. So, naturally, he tore out about half the drywall to get started.

Don't worry, behind the drywall was an old staircase so Greg wasn't cutting into anything foundational. He simply wanted to create a recessed cabinet for his wife and this was the easiest way to do it!

Once he cut out his desired area of drywall, he cut out the stairs pieces behind it and added in framing to fill in any gaps. Next, he got started on building the cabinet itself to fit inside the wall.

He opted for a gorgeous dark stain for the cabinet and added in five shelves, four regular and one curved for the center. After inserting the cabinet into the wall and adding his wife's spices onto the four smaller shelves, Greg added his final feature that totally blew our minds.

He picked up a small glass beverage dispenser and poured in the family's supply of extra virgin olive oil, which he then placed onto the center shelf. An olive oil dispenser? Genius.

This wife has it so good.
