WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. ( WKRN ) — Crews extinguished a fire Sunday night at country singer Carrie Underwood’s Tennessee property.
The fire began around 9:40 p.m. in Williamson County’s Pinewood community, located west of Leiper’s Fork.
According to Williamson County Fire Rescue, the county dispatched crews from all eight of its stations to the Grammy-award-winning singer’s property because of the home’s remote location.
Officials told Nexstar’s WKRN that fire crews had to travel up a long road and then up a long driveway to the primary residence. First responders found a fully involved fire at the property’s garage.

Firefighters quickly got the fire under control thanks to the home’s 10,000-gallon water tank on the premises. Crews did not have to waste time looking for a hook-up.
After the garage fire was knocked down, firefighters remained at the scene for several hours since the fire got into the walls and kept flaring up in hot spots.
Fire investigators told WKRN there were no injuries to Underwood and her family, who were at home at the time of the fire. However, officials didn’t specify exactly who was in the home. Underwood is married to Mike Fisher, and they share two sons.
Officials said there was no damage to the primary residence. Investigators are working to determine if the fire was sparked by an ATV parked next to the garage.
No additional information was immediately released.
Underwood, an “American Idol” alum, has received eight Grammy Awards, the first of which she won in 2006 for Best New Artist and Best Female Vocal Country Performance for “Jesus, Take The Wheel.”
