Please don't hate me "Swifties." I was hesitant to even write one up on this, knowing what the power of Taylor Swift's following can do. Just to give an example, I whole heartedly believe that when I worked with a former employer, one of my coworkers put in their two weeks because they were a fan of Taylor Swift and I was listening to John Mayer at my desk. Swifties take their fandom very seriously... That must also mean that they are hating what's happening online right now. This type of thing has taken place a couple of times during the economy-boosting Eras Tour , so it's not like this internet discourse came out of nowhere. What's going on, you might be asking? Well, a fan of Taylor Swift posted a video of their favorite artist dancing on stage and praised Swift for her moves.
