28/22 News celebrates Founder’s Day by volunteering

JENKINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Last week, 28/22 News celebrated our parent company Nexstar Media Group’s Founder’s Day, along with its 28th year in broadcasting.

To mark the special occasion, dozens of employees at 28/22 News gave back by donating their time to the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank.

Over the course of three days, 28/22 News packed more than 1,400 hundred boxes filled with food for families in need.

Along with volunteering, 28/22 news employees also raised over $600 for the food bank.
