    Raleigh County man pleads guilty to fentanyl crime

    BEAVER, WV (WVNS) — A Beaver man pleaded guilty to distribution of fentanyl.

    Armed robbery suspect wanted in Fayette County

    According to court documents, on February 16, 2023, Kevin Lemar Legrand, 23, of Beaver sold 7.2 grams of fentanyl for $600 to an undercover officer at his home in Beaver. Legrand admitted to this drug sale. He then further admitted to selling a total of 6.2 grams of fentanyl for $1,200 to a undercover officer at his home on two other occasions in February 2023.

    Legrand sentencing is scheduled for October 4, 2024, and faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a $1 million fine.
