    Crash closes part of I-80 for hours in Northumberland County

    TURBOT TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A part of Interstate 80 Westbound was closed for hours after a crash on Monday in Turbot Township.

    Officials say around 4:30 p.m., PSP Milton and fire crews from Turbot Township and Milton were called to Interstate 80-Westbound at Exit 215 for a reported two-car crash.

    Authorities say the crash involved a semi-truck and a flatbed truck and that two people were transported to a nearby hospital for injuries.

    The condition of the two injured are unknown at this time.

    While the roadway was closed, a detour was in place.

    Around 8:30 p.m., PennDOT says the road has since reopened.
