    Tropical Storm Warning Details

    Current Watches and Warnings

    What we're tracking: A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for immediate coastal counties in the Crossroads including Aransas and Calhoun counties. This warning is in effect until further notice from the NWS and has been issued due to likely tropical storm force winds gusting up to 55-60 mph at times overnight and tomorrow. The main risks for the immediate coast will be tropical storm force winds, spin up waterspouts, storm surge between 1-4 feet, and very heavy rain up to 9-12 inches. In other areas of coastal counties, Coastal Flood Warnings have been issued for the impending very heavy rain and onshore flow. Inland counties will be under Flood Watch beginning tonight for the arriving heavy rain. Inland counties will experience less so of the heavy rain amounts totaling up to around 2-6 inches. In Victoria County, totals between 5-7 inches are expected by Thursday morning. These rainfall totals exclude Thursday's and Friday's shower chances.
