We all want our kids to be confident and feel empowered to take risks — but sometimes we're not fully prepared for how adventurous they really can be. Sure, we're happy and proud when they jump off the high dive or flip their skateboard, but we're also a little bit terrified!

In a video posted on June 15, a toddler girl is having the time of her life racing up and down the street in a pink ride-on toy car. She has no fear, but luckily she does have a big brother on a scooter who knows just how to keep her in line!

"This girl is all gas, no brakes! Gotta love that Dad and big bro figured out how to rig it to go faster, little did they know she wasn't about to check up for anything," wrote Samantha Busch . She definitely feels the need for speed, but commenters were especially impressed with her older brother's pro-level moves. (It's worth noting that their dad is famous NASCAR driver Kyle Busch!)

"Big bro got my respect, well executed pit maneuver," wrote ivy wren <3.

"Wait his pit maneuver was clean," wrote sanjay_0331.

"That's a real big brother, he learned a scooter pit maneuver for her," wrote Summer2024.

"The fact that his pit maneuver was stellar and she had drift skills means mom and dad's insurance is about to be sky high," wrote Dr. Bad vibes.

According to NBC 6, PIT stands for "precision immobilization technique," and a PIT maneuver is a tactic (generally used by law enforcement) where a pursuing vehicle forces another vehicle to suddenly turn sideways. Clearly these kids are picking up some skills while watching dad at work!

What Are the Benefits of Ride-On Cars for Kids?

Most of us buy ride-on cars for our children simply because they're fun , but they can actually be beneficial for little ones in a number of ways, according to Kids in the House.

For one thing, ride-on cars give kids a chance to practice their motor skills when they steer (and/or use their legs, depending on the type of car). Learning how to drive a toy vehicle successfully can also build a child's confidence .

"When your kid plays with this toy , they will learn how to move around and maneuver the car as you cheer them. They may take some time to learn , but this is important because they automatically set goals and achieve them. As you support their milestones, you are essentially helping them develop confidence in themselves to achieve things. As they start going longer distances, riding over bumps, and making successful turns, they experience an increase in their self-esteem."

Driving a ride-on car also helps to develop a child's spatial intelligence.

"When they play with ride-on cars, they automatically start becoming aware of their surroundings...this helps them better understand the space around them and how to explore it. They learn to stop when there is an obstruction, turn when there is space, and even slow down if there is a bump ahead of them."

By the time they're old enough to get their driver's licenses, the brother and sister in this video are going to be more than ready!
