CLAY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One woman has been arrested after entering a couple’s home and assaulting another woman because she thought they were hiding a female.

According to a criminal complaint, on Friday, June 14, 2024, at around 4 AM, a local couple reported an illegal entry at their residence on Dixie Highway in Clay County.

Upon arrival at the residence, the officer met with the homeowners.

The victims recounted a series of events that began around 3 AM when an individual, identified as 31-year-old Tiffanie Stricker, allegedly forcibly entered their home.

Stricker purportedly gained access by stepping over a closed porch gate and unlocking the screen door to enter the residence.

The victims claimed the main door was already unlocked.

Stricker accused the couple of harboring another woman inside their home, resulting in a confrontation.

The female victim alleged that Stricker physically assaulted her, striking her multiple times in the face, head, and chest.

The responding officer observed visible injuries to the female victim’s left eye, which appeared swollen and bruised.

In response to the escalating situation, the male victim asserted that he resorted to using a firearm to compel Stricker to leave the property.

He stated that he escorted Stricker out at gunpoint after the altercation moved to the front porch.

The male victim claimed that even as Stricker exited, the aggression continued, resulting in another assault.

The victims provided the officer with surveillance footage capturing the incident on the porch.

According to the male victim, before the intrusion, he overheard Stricker and her boyfriend arguing outside their residence about infidelity accusations.

Further investigation revealed that Stricker and her boyfriend had been residing in a camper behind the victim’s home.

However, when officers searched the area, neither could be located.

Stricker was arrested and charged with Battery. She is currently at Central Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond.
