Woman Turns 'Sad' Concrete Patio Into the Happiest Little Oasis with Painting Trick

It's the time of year to get backyard spaces presentable for all of our hosting needs. If your concrete patio is looking a bit old and dingy and pouring a new one is out of the question, consider painting it, much like one genius homeowner did, because you may be happily surprised with the outcome. Check out her beautiful patio transformation below!

The woman's concrete patio was looking- and feeling- a bit rough. The finish on the concrete had worn away and she was left with bumpy and gritty exposed aggregate. Instead of paying to have a new patio poured the woman put her thinking cap on and did something we haven't seen done before . She painted it!

The woman chose to use a bright white color of paint for her patio, and if you are considering the idea you may also want to choose a light color such as yellow, orange, or light green as darker colors will bake in the sun and get warm.

Not only did the woman paint it white but she also added a stubble checkered print to it, elevating the space even more.

She used a large roller to give the patio multiple coats of paint and let it dry before decorating it up with her patio furniture and decorations. This made her space feel brand new with a price tag that was oh-so low!
