Red Lobster Unveils New Menu and Fans Are Excited

Red Lobster might be facing some financial woes, but that hasn't stopped the chain from moving forward on new deals and promos, and they have a celebrity fan to help them out.

Longtime Red Lobster fan Flavor Flav reached out to the seafood chain and rallied other fans to help save the flailing chain by enjoying its annual Crabfest celebration.

Red Lobster responded letting fans know that not only is Crabfest back, but it's bringing along new menu items. Content creator @snachwithzach shared the new items on TikTok and we can't wait to dive into summer at Red Lobster!

“We love seeing our fans show up and rally for us, so when Flavor Flav reached out, we answered the call and invited him to join us in reminding fans we’re here to stay,” said Sara Bittorf, Chief Experience Officer at Red Lobster.

This year’s Crabfest lineup is full of flavor, according to the company, and guests can indulge in the new Crab Your Way promo, which allows people to choose a full pound of steamed wild-caught crab legs (Snow or Bairdi) and then select a flavor option like the all-new Cajun Butter, the Roasted Garlic Butter, or Simply Steamed.

“Crabfest has been a guest-favorite event for years and we’re excited to bring the flavor, along with a variety of wild-caught crab for our guests to enjoy, now and for generations to come,” added Bittorf.

But the flavor doesn’t stop there! Red Lobster has new crab creations starting at just $20, allowing guests to choose from the new Creamy Crab Carbonara, new Crab & Lobster Duo, and the new Snow Crab & Crab-Topped Steak.

For those looking to level up their meal, the new Crab Mac & Cheese is the perfect cheesy addition, and the new Big Breezy Hurricane will have guests sipping on some summertime flavor.

Fingers-Crossed This Doesn't Backfire

Many people may remember Red Lobster's disastrous Endless Shrimp Promo, which was cited as a reason for the company filing for bankruptcy protection .

They lost a whopping $11 million on that deal, and it only further complicated their financial issues.

We hope the Crabfest promotion is a better deal and actually brings more money to the floundering restaurant chain. We'd hate to lose those biscuits!
