As an adult, it’s not uncommon to realize that there are plenty of things from our childhood lost to time that scratch a certain part of our brain, leading us to go on a quest to nurture that part of us yearning for the unbridled wonder and joy of our youth. Whether it’s a nostalgic snack or beverage , the resurgence of a long-forgotten television show or simply just a memory encapsulated in a faded, time-worn photograph, it’s always a treat to take a trip back in time to reminisce about all the good.

One such memory that we adults (see: big kids) might’ve forced into the back of our brains is the uncontrollable excitement of getting a brand new, super-cool, fun and quirky lunch box. Emblazoned with our favorite characters, superheroes, phrases, or even one with tons of pockets and compartments, one might say that the lunch box was the original status bottle (here's looking at you, Stanley Cup ). And while the lunch box has never really gone out of style, whether by circumstance or choice, we grown-ups don’t seem to find much use for them anymore. Sure, we could leave all the glee-inducing lunchbox fun to our kiddos, but don’t we deserve an extra dose of serotonin, too?

Fortunately, if you’re down for the Novelty Lunch Box revolution, @targetgems gave us a firsthand look at all the cute new finds in Target’s Bullseye Playground , and we want them all. Officially branded as bento boxes, these adorable lunch containers come in a variety of super cute styles—from the more subdued collapsible sandwich and pizza containers to the more vibrant 3-D unicorn, shark and rainbow options. In addition to the plastic and silicone offerings, you can also find small fabric lunch boxes with handles in pink and purple colorways.

Even better than all those options, of course, is the wildly low price of just $3. This means you could grab one for every day of the week and still have cash to spare. As expected, shoppers flooded the comments section to express their excitement at the adorable lunch boxes with most saying, “These are seriously the cutest 🥰🥰🥰🥰.”

While we’re sure these are meant for the littles, there’s no shame in grabbing a couple for yourself, too.
