    New Trailways services connect more of the Capital Region

    ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Trailways has announced that it will be expanding its services with a new route that will connect St. Lawrence County, Franklin County, and the Adirondacks to areas such as Gouverneur, De Kalb Junction, Lawrence, Malone, Glen Falls, and Saratoga Springs. This will help underserved regions connect to these counties.

    These service routes will bring public transportation to communities and operate twice daily, allowing for increased travel flexibility. There will also be direct stops at Albany International Airport and Syracuse Hancock International Airport to allow for worldwide connectivity for travelers in the Adirondack region.

    There will be stops at places like Lake Placid and Lake George to promote tourism and local businesses. The service routes will be introduced on Wednesday to kickstart travelers’ enhanced experiences with Trailways.

    “We are excited to bridge a critical gap in public transportation within upstate New York,” said Alex Berardi, President of Trailways.com and Trailways.ca. “Our new route provides an essential service for residents and tourists alike, inviting new visitors to explore the Adirondack region.”
