LAKE DELTON, Wis. -- The continued high heat impacted some roads in south-central Wisconsin on Tuesday, causing pavement buckles.

Pavement damage on US 12 West at the south junction of I-90/94 East in Sauk County caused the right lane to close for several hours. The lane reopened just after 6 p.m.

And in Dane County, the right lane was closed on I-39/90 North at WIS 30 due to pavement damage. That lane reopened at 5:25 p.m.

One lane on US 12 West near County BD in Sauk County south of Lake Delton has since reopened after a pavement buckle.

WisDOT said it is unknown when the other lanes will re-open.
